2. What we collect

When you buy Molo, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details. We receive from Stripe your email, name, country and the purchase reference. We use your email to deliver your download link and license key. The website keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security. We do not run advertising, tracking pixels or analytics.

3. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers, so there is no cookie banner. The only item stored in your browser is your light/dark theme choice (browser local storage), which never leaves your device. When you click Buy, you are taken to Stripe’s checkout, which may use its own cookies under Stripe’s policy.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. We never see or store your card number. See stripe.com/privacy for how Stripe handles your data.

5. The Molo app

Molo has no analytics and does not collect usage data. Your server addresses, usernames and passwords stay on your Mac (passwords in the macOS Keychain) and are never sent to us. When Molo checks for updates, your license key, the app version and your IP address reach our update server so we can offer you updates; the app does not send a system profile.

6. Why we use your data

To fulfil your purchase and deliver the product (contract), to provide support and updates, to meet tax and legal obligations, and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest).

7. Sharing and retention

We share data only with service providers needed to run the shop: Stripe (payments) and our email and hosting providers. We do not sell your data. We keep purchase records as long as required for tax and accounting law and to support your license, then delete or anonymise them.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK or California), you may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use. Write to ; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
